Whilst some organisations might benefit from a highly systemised approach (such as larger organisations operating across complex projects), others might elect a simpler structure, using an approach supported by good practice and the key principles of collaboration (probably smaller organisations that want to their demonstrate commitment and capability with a more simplified structure).
The Travelator recognises the ability to 'step on, step off' to developing capability, in that organisations can tailor their approach to match their business need. Not all organisations start at the beginning, as some capability exists or is already embedded, and not all steps are deemed essential. What is important though is that for most organisations it is a continual journey, rather than a destination, because raising capability never stops in a dynamic and evolving business environment, with new demands and challenges ever present or emerging.
