NATSComing Together to Enhance Supply Chain Collaboration & Reward Success

NATS held its annual Supplier Conference at the Hilton Ageas Bowl, Hampshire on 8 November. It focused on how NATS is working with its technology partners on its major transformation programme, 'Deploying SESAR' to introduce European Air Traffic Management concepts towards a 'Single Sky'. The central theme of the day was "Delivering for Success".

The event saw 150 people from over 30 organisations come together to hear updates on the Deploying SESAR programme, progress against deployment points and explore ways in which all our organisations can further enhance how we work together collaboratively to deliver the transformation. Working in a collaborative eco-system, sharing information on dependencies, risks & opportunities, to keep the programme on time and on budget.

The conference concluded with a formal dinner where awards were presented to suppliers recognising their contribution to the programme. The Supplier Achievement of the Year was presented to Rohde & Schwarz for delivering a key system on time and budget. The Collaborative Partner of the Year Award was presented to Altran, for how they have worked with us to establish away forward for delivering new controller tools. There were individual achievement awards for the collaborative contributions of Jason Shadbolt from Nav Canada and Stuart Crawford from Leidos.

NATSTim Bullock, NATS Supply Chain Director said "The Deploying SESAR Programme is a large and complex programme involving a large number of people and organisations and collaboration is key to ensuring we are working as effectively as possible. I'm pleased that we've recognised the contribution that our suppliers have made to the programme so far and look forward to working with them over the coming months."

James Cruse, from ServiceNow said "Thank you all for the excellent conference. It was ServiceNow's first NATS Supplier Conference and we came away from it raring to go and are incredibly proud to be a part of this journey with you and the other suppliers. We made some great connections and are looking forward to collaborating with the entire eco-system in the near future."

Paul D'Cruz from CISCO said "Thank you for extending the invite for the supplier forum to Cisco, we are committed to SESAR and have several follow-up areas with both NATS and our partners to continue to support the programme's success."
