As we enter 2019 I was delighted to close the presentation ceremony at the House of Lords and to be welcomed in to my new role as CEO of ICW and to have the chance to thank my predecessor Les Pyle for the work done by the ICW team to create a foundation on which I can help to further develop.
The 2018 Awards, sponsored by BSI, filled me with enthusiasm for my new role. There is a growing recognition of the benefits of collaborative working and ICW must be at the centre in supporting and promoting this business discipline.
Not only were we able to publicly recognise some outstanding collaborations across a variety of organisations and applications, but also a number of individuals who have themselves supported both ICW and delivered significant outcomes.
We were pleased to present our BSI partners with their certificate as the first certification body, globally, to complete the ICW validation scheme. Alongside this presentation we had the opportunity to present a number of ISO 44001 certificates to seven organisations acknowledging a number of firsts. These included the A14 IDT as an unincorporated alliance and Affinitext as the first micro company to achieve certification.
I look forward to working with all our members and the ICW Team to build on the great achievements to date.
