Birkbeck College Lunchtime Talks

Following discussions with the Cabinet Office team working on the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting this April in London, the London School of Business and Management held a series of free lunchtime talks on the themes of the upcoming meeting.

ICW (David Hawkins) was invited to speak on Collaboration and Partnerships.

For the first time, civil society organisations from business, trade unions, NGOs and a wide variety of civil society and professional organisations working in areas from education to urban planning have come together to say what matters from their perspectives in each of these thematic areas. Following input from the Commonwealth Businesswomen’s Network, a specific section highlights the importance of Collaboration and Partnerships, which says "the ISO 44001 Collaborative business relationship management systems represent a gold standard of good practice, which several Commonwealth countries were instrumental in agreeing."
