Inaugural Event for ICW New Zealand

ICW New Zealand hosted an inaugural event on 27th September in Wellington, which was supported by representatives from across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors and two guest speakers. This event has highlighted a strong level of interest in collaborative working and started some valuable conversations. Congratulations to the ICWNZ team.

ICWNZ Associate Nasi Jenkin said: "We had a fabulous inaugural ICWNZ event on 27th September in Wellington, New Zealand.

"This was an opportunity to network with others interested in the topic of collaboration, to introduce the ICWNZ Team [Dave Macdonald, Director; Nasi Jenkin, Associate; Tristan Lees-Baker, Associate and Chris Olsen, Associate] and ISO 44001, an additional tool in our collective toolbox that we are using in Australasia.

"We were delighted with the number and calibre of attendees and there were some good conversations. We had representation from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, which is a true reflection of the importance of “collaboration” and relevance across all sectors. At this event, we were privileged to have two guest speakers; Mayor Craig Little, Wairoa District Council, and Lewis Ratapu, Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga, share their inspiring collaboration success stories.
