Mark has an extensive background with a wide range of experience, managing diverse types of complex multi-disciplinary major project tenders (£25m to £200m+), covering Frameworks (Rail, MoD and Foreign & Commonwealth Office), Energy (Power Stations, LNG Facilities, Waste to Energy), Early Contractor Involvement (ECI - Highways Agency), Private Finance Initiative (PFI), Design & Build and Construct projects. He has thirty years experience, gained with Contracting and Consulting companies, both in the UK and overseas.
Mark is one of the first ten senior managers in Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering, selected to go through their customised Executive Development Programme (X-Factor). Mark brings highly relevant and recent experience in collaborative working and Alliance Programmes. Prior to joining the ICW in January 2013 he was responsible for managing the Balfour Beatty Plc Global BS11000 certification programme.
He has a track record as a successful bid director for collaborative projects such as the BAA Complex Integrator and the ODA 2012 Aquatics Centre.
